If you know your Vedic/Sidereal Moon Degree in Natal Chart(Birth Chart) then use this to find your Birth Nakshatra. Do note the current Mahadasha displayed there for, that will decide the amplitude of good or bad things.
If you don’t know that, use this first to find out the Moon Degree in Natal Chart and remember it just as you would for your rising/sun/moon sign. Use these readings in conjunction with your Vedic Astrology Birth Nakshatra.
**The greener the period, the easier & high-yielding for initiations it is. Green also shows recovery and nourishment. The redder the period, more the chances for resistance and frustration which must be overcome. Red also indicates financial and professional setbacks. Use the opposing energy to push through an earlier initiated project or task that is difficult. Try to internalize it by doing brainstorming, intense research, spiritual/mindfulness practices, or by working out your body. The amplification of these undertones actually takes place through the current Mahadasha (and Antardasha). So if you run a bad Mahadasha(and bad Antardasha) like that of Rahu, Ketu or any other planet which is malefic for your Ascendant Sign – You need to be careful! So the difference between a good dasha and a bad dasha for the same red level can be Headache and Brain Hemorrhage respectively. Even in the latter case, if the malefic planet, whose dasha(or antar) you are running, still has some aspects (conjunction is aspect too) from the functional benefic planets in the natal chart (and to a certain extent the transit chart also), then the state won’t be fatal (or discomforting in direct proportion to the number of benefic aspects and/or diginity). Nakshatra predictions are independent of Sign predictions. So look for where they both agree and where they complement each other to ‘smooth it out’. Nakshatras are accurate to the day and affect your mind. Signs affect you for many days, and mostly through your surroundings.
